Along the way, St. Croix has added strategically placed ART and Veil reinforcement to ensure maximum impact protection, plus offset ferrules on the 2-piece models that create the feel and performance of a 1-piece rod. However, the advanced technology doesn't stop there; this amazing rod features top-line components from tip to butt. The Sea Guide® Hero Hi-Grade SS316 stainless steel guides with slim aluminum oxide rings move even heavy braid with ease, ensuring long casts and smooth retrieves under load.
